Laparoscopy is the most frequent endoscopic treatment performed today. RZ-Medizintechnik offers a complete range for standard procedures as well as for special surgical techniques.

Our modern and modular PEEK silicone valve trocar system offers optimal access for all laparoscopic procedures. The ergonomically perfected ring handle system, which can be disassembled into three parts, boasts a variety of 5 mm and 10 mm inserts, enabling you to have the perfect instrument for every operation at your disposal.

Other special features in the RZ laparoscopy range include our carbide needle holders with axial handle and our ceramic-insulated electrodes. Both guarantee a long service life and the finest work. Our patented bulldog clamps, which are used in DaVinci operations, round off our extensive product range.

Laparoscopy Full Catalogue

The complete laparoscopic instrument range includes many special instruments for dissection, temporary or permanent vascular occlusion or retractors for improved visualisation of anatomical structures.
In addition to the comprehensive standard instrument range, we also offer special solutions and instruments with a special design, which fulfil many of these functions.

Trocar Systems

Trocars are medical instruments that create either a sharp or blunt access to a body cavity. Our trocars are based on a very flexible principle so that the trocar system used can be freely configured.

At RZ, a distinction is made between a MultiPort and a SiliPort trocar system. There are also solutions for thorascopy and safety trocars.

All RZ trocars are reusable and therefore a sustainable, ecological and economical system.

MIS Instruments

Dissectable instruments for laparoscopy are an extension of the surgeon’s hand.

The lightweight monopolar instruments with a Peek handle are available in many different versions. 400 different instruments with grasping forceps, dissectors and scissors offer a solution for every anatomical challenge.

In addition to the standard MIS instruments, there are additional sizes and lengths for bariatrics and paediatrics.

Endoscopes / Laparoscopes

Endoscopes can be used to provide a clear examination of the abdomen. The RZ endoscopes for laparoscopy in high-resolution Full HD or UHD 4K show structures in high quality and natural colours, and enable diagnostics and treatment in laparoscopy in addition with ICG/NIR technology.

VATS – Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery

VATS (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery) and MICS (minimally invasive cardiac surgery) describe minimally invasive surgical methods in pulmonary and cardiac surgery. They boast significant advantages over traditional open surgery.

Classic procedures require a median sternotomy, while VATS/MICS operations are minimally invasive.
